On the 30 Oct 2010, our Taman Sri Lanchang project in Jejawi, Perlis was in the front page of The Star Newspaper for the wrong reason. It was hit by mini twister which blown through Perlis town the night before.

It affected some 50 families in the area. In Taman Seri Lanchang, our first projects in Jejawi, Perlis, there are 14 families affected by the mini twister and we decided to provide cash aid of RM500 each for all the 14 families as well as some technical assistance. Although we had handed over the houses to all our purchasers on the 6 of Mar 2008 and the 24 months warranty had been expired, Encomas is more than willing to help our home owner during this difficult time and that become part of our Project CSR.

During a simple hand click here over of cash aid and some technical assistance on the site the next day, Encomas found out that the structure of all our buildings is still safe and sound. Only the roof tiles were broken. Even the roof trusses are in perfect condition. It was the rain water that makes the damages for the home furniture. We were told by the local residents that we act faster than the state government to help up the needy during the mini twister.

We are honored to hear that and in fact we receive a lot of publicity for the assistance. Now people in Jejawi are queuing out to purchase our new projects in Jejawi. We definitely gain respect from the community and Project CSR do help out in our bottom line at the end of the day.
