As a SME in a small town, in one of the less developed state of Malaysia, to contribute 1% of our total revenue in CSR is a bold and daring decision. We would like to challenge the multinational company to contribute more than 1% of their revenue to CSR.
Encomas is very proud to sponsor the Northern Kedah Art & Calligraphy Competition since 2010. We have been sponsoring and organising the Kedah Art & Calligraphy Competition for the past 4 years.
Encomas is very proud to sponsor the Charity Sales to raise fund for Sin Min Private School in Alor Setar since 2010. With the teamwork and generosity from the students, parents, local societies and many organizations, the charity manage to raise on average RM250,000.00 for the Sin Min Private School Fund.
At Encomas, we are proud to build a Solar Control Room for SMKJC Keat Hwa 1 (Keat Hwa 1 Secondary School).
On October 28th, 2012, our team took the task to visit Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Ramalinga, Alor Setar, to investigate their needs.
In 2012, we received a distressed call from SMK Kubang Rotan regarding the urgent need of funding to construct the Surau (prayer room). Without hesitation, the Encomas management and team set off to SMK Kubang Rotan to look at the situation.
On the 30 Oct 2010, our Taman Sri Lanchang project in Jejawi, Perlis was in the front page of The Star Newspaper for the wrong reason. It was hit by mini twister which blown through Perlis town the night before.
Encomas is very proud of sponsoring the first ever solo exhibition of local artist Mr. Lee Choon Kooi, a self taught artist of over 30 years from Kedah. His art is a blend of eastern and western techniques, capturing the tradition and culture of the different races of Malaysia. His first ever solo exhibition titled MULTICULTURAL was held at the hall of Kedah / Perlis Teochew Association in Alor Setar on the 1 Oct 2010 till 5 Oct 2010. It was organized by Kedah / Perlis Teochew Association.
