The Tunku Sarina Dialysis Centre was built by Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah (YSB) and Yayasan EMKAY in 25 May 2009. It is located in Sungai Korok, Alor Setar, Kedah. To date, there are some 60 patients who receive treatment from the centre everyday with 14 dialysis machines.

The centre aim to provide dialysis treatment to those patients with lower income group. Every year the centre need fund to buy medication for the patients who receive treatment on top of the regular maintenance of the dialysis machine, reverse osmosis water system, dialyzer and others.

Last year YSB plan to buy click here more dialysis machines to cope with the ever increasing demand of the treatment. Currently YSB is planning to open another branch of the dialysis centre in Baling to cater to those patients in the southern part of Kedah state.

Encomas is proud to donate RM50,000.00 to buy a dialysis machine for the Tunku Sarina Dialysis Centre. Although patients still have to pay a nominal fee for the treatment but most of the cost was subsidized and donated by the public. This year, Encomas plan to donate some fund to help them run the centre.
